The other costume that is significant, is the black t-shirt and light blue silk pyjamas. The black t-shirt is representative of Kathryn's dark or evil side- as the colour black is linked to 'evilness'. The light blue pyjama top will have the opposite effect and show that the character 'Lizzy' is still innocent and unaware of 'Kathryn's' transformation. The light blue colour is connected to the idea of a young child who is innocent and oblivious to evil. The contrasting colours and images on the clothing found within the trailer, are there to provide the audience with commonly used conventions in horror movies, which will allow them to recognise the 'villain' and 'victim'.
